Jane Lynch's Estranged Wife Wants $94,000 in Monthly Spousal Support


Jane Lynch's estranged wife (Dr. Lara Embry) wants $94,000 per month in spousal support following the breakdown of their marriage in February this year.
The Glee star separated from Dr Lara Embry, and filed for divorce in July, citing "irreconcilable differences". Embry responded to the divorce filing by asking for 94,000 per month as financial support.
In TMZ obtained legal documents; Lynch’s average monthly income over the three years of marriage has been $234,688. “Lynch told me she had $400,000 in her savings and 401K combined, and owned her home.” Says Dr. Lara Embry.
Embry claims that she should be given more than $93k a month and she wants Lynch to support her in the luxurious lifestyle to which she became.
Embry added that income Jane Lynch's income, investments and assets highly increased with her new acting success.” She also backed more explanation to that by saying that Lynch supported her during their marriage in a luxurious life style by paying for everything, including expensive vacations.
Their marriage didn’t have a prenuptial agreement, meaning that all assets acquired during their gay marriage will be split 50/50.
According to the latest reports, Lynch is providing Embry and her 10-year-old daughter, Haden, with support. They are also living in the house that Lynch bought, where as the Glee actress temporarily moved somewhere else.
Jane Lynch and Dr. Lara Embry got married in a small ceremony in Sunderland, in the early Jun of 2010. In 2010, Lesbian marriage wasn’t legal in California, so the 52 year old actress and 44 year old psychologist were just registered as domestic partners. The couple later legalized their marriage.
Lynch announced their divorce in June, and officially filed it in July, citing “irreconcilable differences”. Though the marriage lasted for only 3 years, Jane Lynch says she still believes in gay marriage.
